Founded by visionary artists Alex Grey and Allyson Grey, CoSM is an interfaith church and sanctuary of visionary art set on 40 wooded acres in New York's Hudson Valley, about 65 miles north of NYC. At its heart is Entheon, a 12,000-square-foot temple and museum housing the original Sacred Mirrors and major works of visionary art. The grounds also include the 1860s Grey House with the Mushroom Café and CoSM Shop, the Wisdom Trail art walk, and an outdoor ceremony space. CoSM has held an unbroken chain of monthly Full Moon Ceremonies since January 2003. The Foundation for the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors is a 501(c)(3) non-profit (1996); the Church of Sacred Mirrors was established in 2008.
